A good emcee does more than read a script. I set the tone the moment guests sit down, keep the programme moving when things change at the last minute, and make the VIPs, sponsors and winners feel looked after.

I've hosted corporate functions, high-energy pickleball and badminton tournaments, and the JCI Malaysia Gala Night in front of 1,200 guests. Formal or fun, I adjust my style to fit your audience and your brand. I can also run a bilingual or multilingual programme, so every guest in a mixed Malaysian audience feels included.

    I write or refine the emcee script and check the run-of-show with your team.

    I check cues with AV and backstage crew, confirm VIP names and titles, and walk the stage.

Which languages do you host in?

English, Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese. I can host in one language or run a bilingual or multilingual programme for a mixed audience.

What kinds of events do you host?

Corporate events (annual dinners, conferences, launches, award ceremonies), gala nights, and pickleball and badminton tournaments. If your event is something else, just ask.

How far in advance should I book?

One to two months ahead is ideal. Year-end annual dinners and festive seasons fill up quickly, so book earlier for those. For last-minute events, WhatsApp me and I'll check right away.

Do you write the emcee script?

Yes. Send me your rundown and I'll prepare the script, or polish the one your team already has.

Will you attend the rehearsal?

Yes. I'll join the rehearsal or technical run to go through cues with your AV and backstage team, and confirm VIP names and titles.

Do you host outside the Klang Valley?

Yes, I'm available for events across Malaysia. Travel and accommodation for out-of-town events are included in the quote.

How much do you charge?

It depends on the event type, duration, language and location. Send me your event details and I'll get back to you with a quote, usually within 24 hours.
